The circle series takes inspiration from Giotto’s famous ‘O’, a concept used to demonstrate his enormous technical skill by simply drawing a perfect circle unaided. Combining this with the unpredictable nature of a loose brush stroke JakBox has created a series of unique circles with the beauty lying within the imperfections.

Each circle is created using black acrylic paint on thick watercolour paper with a deckled edge (see photos).
