How often do you look down when you’re walking through the streets of London?
When I started examining pavements for the rubbings, I realised how little attention I had paid to what was beneath me…
In Camden the other day, I decided to explore the ground under my feet. One thing that really struck me was the variety of manhole covers around, and how interesting their patterns were. I started to take photos whenever I saw a new design, and the collection grew and grew.
There is often such beauty in the overlooked, next time you’re walking through London take the time to explore not just what is in front of you.
